I wait till they call my name. My heart is beating inside my chest. Emotion wells up within me similar to the moment I gave birth to my children. Hands tremble with excitement. Knees seem unsteady. Am I really living this? Is this MY life?
I hear the announcement and then my name, "Margi Starr!" My feet begin moving forward. I hear the applause; I feel the bright lights. I remember to breathe. Every cell in my body is alive.
I feel the strong handshake. I yield to the warm hugs. This is REAL. This is my time.
Inside I dance with joy.

comfort zone. But I knew, that in order to make my business
grow this was something I had to learn and become comfortable with.
So a change in thinking was the first thing I had to do. Self talk began
to include the positive results that would come from handing out my
business card.
Now I do not fear going out and sharing my business card with
people. In fact, I find it fun. It is interesting to
talk with different people and see their reactions. We can learn so much
about a person in how they respond to us.
The more I shared my business card with people the more
comfortable I became and positive results began happen.
Now when I go out to talk to people I expect positive results.
I have faith that I will get their contact information and 90% of
the time I do.

Learning MORE about the products and the business does not get one “unstuck.”
The answer is retraining the Subconscious Mind through the power of Self-Talk.
Before I began my journey of Personal Growth, I would have told you this was all airy fairy stuff, but there’s an old saying, “You don’t know what you don’t know.” Even though I believed fully in transforming your mind through Scripture, I was completely ignorant of the power of the Subconscious. I thought that I just needed more training or information.
But learning more Information doesn’t necessarily get one “unstuck” from lifelong patterns.
So how does one get unstuck?
The secret is simple and costs nothing but your time. You must retrain what’s in your Subconscious Mind through the repetition of positive affirmations and declarations. State it as though it’s already true.
Don’t let the word “simple” misguide you. Repeating Self-Talk hundreds of times each day is not rocket science, but it’s not easy. It requires the utmost commitment, focus, and perseverance. Belief will come the more you say it.
Here’s one of my Self-Talks:
“I am an Inspiring, Achieving, and Prosperous woman.”
If your Self-Talk makes your stomach do flip flips, it’s probably the perfect one. When I started saying this Declaration, I certainly didn’t feel that I was Inspiring, Achieving or Prosperous. Far from it. But now, after saying those words for many months, they feel like a perfect fit. It’s like a contract I have with myself.
My business Self Talk is the one we hear frequently on MFF calls:
“I am having fun attracting and sponsoring Leaders into my business, easily and consistently, through education and teamwork.”
I’ve known people who have agonized over what words to use in their Self-Talk. They get stuck because they think they have to have the perfect words. The only thing that really matters is to Do It.
Michael Dlouhy suggests that we say our Self-Talk 400 times per day. I’ve never counted out how many times I actually say it, but I know that whenever I wake up during the night, my Self-Talk is going through my mind.
It’s as though the power of the Positive words are washing away the negative that has built up throughout my lifetime. The neuron pathways are cleansed and re-magnitized with powerful, life-changing patterns.
So for those of us seeking to grow a successful network marketing business, it makes sense to intentionally rewire our brains with Positive thoughts. After all, this is far more important than reshuffling the papers on our desk or studying the molecular composition of our products.

Finally, they decided to QUIT.

“Some men are dumb, but not this one!” . . . although I’ve been through many
ups-and-downs in this business and have not yet achieved the level of success I’m
aiming for . . . I have never (completely) quit.
I’ve taken some breaks . . . but have always had network marketing in the back of
my mind and a constant nagging telling me this is what I’m supposed to do . . . fast
forward several years and whether by chance or design, I found Mentoring for Free!

Upon reading and listening to this chapter, which by the way, I always read and listen to the chapters at the same time, brought me the key ideas of changing my lifetime of mediocrity and failure.

Wow, wow, wow … sometimes it takes reading a chapter over and over again before the chapter finally sinks in and starts helping me to change my stinking thoughts.
It has taken many years of reading this book to finally be able to read it with more clarity. When I would read a chapter, my mind would drift off and I would start thinking of things which I had to do during the day.
But this time when I read it and also after reading and listening to Monday afternoon’s lesson skills training call, I seem to have become much more clear in my thinking in that I was able to focus longer on the chapter that I just read and listened.
I must stop thinking of negative thoughts. I must get out of the poverty mindset. I must become success conscious. How do I do that? By following each of the thirteen principles thought in this wonderful book “Think and Grow Rich”.
Now I know why Michael does not change books after we finish with it. He knows that sometimes it will take many readings of the book or of reading a certain chapter when we stop the chatter in our minds and be able to concentrate long enough to stay focused while readi ng the entire chapter.
I finally feel that I have made a nice breakthrough. I must practice to only think positive and this book along with as many positive books that I can get my hands on and read in a focused state of mind will get me into money and success consciousness.
Thank you Michael and Linda for giving us this training vehicle called Mentoring For Free, to help us all achieve our goals like Barnes and the Black girl did as outlined in this Chapter. In the past, I always thought I had an overactive brain. I always had
so many dreams and ambitions. It seemed like I thought way more
thoughts than others around me. I was different.
I tried to be “normal”, to fit in and be like everyone else. I would even

most awesome getaway would be a week in the mountains, with a

THE BRAIN: A BROADCASTING AND RECEIVING STATION FOR THOUGHT
In the past, I always thought I had an overactive brain. I always had
so many dreams and ambitions. It seemed like I thought way more
thoughts than others around me. I was different.
I tried to be “normal”, to fit in and be like everyone else. I would even
whine to God, “Why did you make me so different? Why do I think the
most awesome getaway would be a week in the mountains, with a
backpack on, when all my friends would want to go to some entertainment
or shopping mecca. It even showed up in the interior of my home.
Everyone else had daisies, tigers or animal prints. I have bookcases
filled with books and reproductions of semi-famous paintings.
When I finally realized, that the more I tried to be “normal” the worse
I fit in, I just gave it up and decided to be “ME”. I knew that God gave

These Sunglasses are our belief systems around commitment, trust, and who we think we are. They end up limiting our goals or even preventing us from having goals at all. They determine how we listen or don't listen. They determine whether we prospect people or not, and they impact how we prospect.
When you breakthrough these Sunglasses and have a REVELATION, it affects not just your network marketing business, but every aspect of your life.
Your network marketing business exposes these belief systems.
As long as your sunglasses are making most of your decisions, you are not in control of your life. You know you are not in control when you cannot produce the results you say you want." (Brian Klemmer)
That passage brought up all kinds of emotion in me. But the last sentence was the one that both made me angry and relieved at the same time.
My Subconscious Mind is still controlling me. That means I'm allowing negative programming, (aka LIES) to control me. Ouch!!!
The Good News is that by continued diligence at Self-Talk and Forward Action...my Subconscious can be rewired.
"When I can produce the results I say I want...." That will be proof positive that my Subconscious Mind has been rewired to at least some degree.
Klemmer goes on to say a statement I heard him say many times,
"There is no fairer way to gauge anything than by results--often harsh, always fair.... That is the greatest thing about network marketing."
The Truth sometimes hurts, but ultimately, it sets you FREE.

My fear was speaking up on the calls and giving my input. That fear
was crippling my growth and I knew it. I did not like it and I knew
if I did not change, I would never build a big business and I would
never have the confidence to be a Professional Network Marketer.
I forced myself to begin to participate and gradually I broke down the
steel bars of my jail and my whole life began to change.
One of my self talks has become a reality. “I am happy, confident and
grateful because God is blessing me and I am a positive example and
influence in all areas of my life.”
What a wonderful feeling to know that
I can contribute, I can help others and life outside of my jail is freedom.
Freedom to live the life I want to live, freedom to take action knowing I
will not fail as long as I keep moving forward.

Chapter 15 – How to Outwit the Six Ghosts of Fear
We began in Chapter one understanding that “thoughts
are things" and we are told through out this book that
we are in control of our thoughts and we are given instructions
on how we can control our thoughts.
Do we really believe all these things? Do we really believe
we can control our own thoughts in a way that would be of
benefit to ourselves? Or, do we fool ourselves by saying we
have control and by our actions we show that we let others, or
rather what we perceive others to think, control us?
This last chapter is on fear. Where do our fears come from?
We allow our minds to be influenced by the things around us.
We end up nurturing the negative influence of fear instead
of the positive influence of confidence in ourselves. We become

The top mlm secret revealed on attracting prospects to you today is to tell your prospects a story. There is an old saying that facts tell and stories sell. Tonight I was on a call done by Richard Dennis and he gave three things that should be a part of your story. Educate, Enlighten and Entertain.
Educate is explain to them what they need to know and make them want to say tell me more by being specific. Enlighten is to tell what they need to know on a deeper level. And entertain is making it fun!!
I bet you are asking how can I find stories that will relate to my prospects so those three things can happen? First of all go back to since the time when you were born and make a list of stories of events that happened in your life. Write them down on paper. Because when you write them down you are able to get it into your brain faster. And when it comes up in a conversation something that relates to the story you just bring it up!! Make sure it is a funny story that makes sense and that they can be entertained. That way your prospects will not fall asleep.
Remember that you are the message because people will be joining you in business. They do not care about the system you are using, the product that you have nor the opportunity. They want to be in business with someone whom they enjoyed being around and who are thinking on the same track as they are. They do not like or trust someone who thinks different than they do.
Richard Dennis story was a funny one: His mother forced him to take typing and he failed on the first ten quizzes. On the 11th he got a D and on the 12th he got a C on it. He then made the grade and in college while playing football he typed papers for the other students who wanted the papers to get done. He never knew where that would lead to.
Here is the rest of his story. For 17 years he failed in network marketing and he could not stand talking to people. That was a long time. It all changed when he started telling others the failures that he had. Then people connected to him and then they started to open up & they eventually joined him in the business. Then two of his projects were profitable. The first one was Tomato Warning that was a great network marketing tool that helped others become millionaires and Dead Doctors Don't Lie.

Champion MLM Secret Revealed On Using Sixth Sense To Get To The Top Today
What I learned from this lesson on the Sixth Sense done by Ernest Tucker is a champion mlm secret revealed on using the sixth sense in business and in life so that I can grow into that leader whom people want to be in business with. Because this is the Sixth Sense it makes it easier for me to get the feeling when an important situation around me is happening.
The sixth sense is a portion of the subconscious mind, a receiving set of plans, ideas, thoughts, hunches that pop into your mind. It has also been known as creative imagination along with many whom often say it has preformed miracles and is oftened referred to as a “guardian angel”.

I stopped changed her tire and she told me she was taking her child to the hospital I knew my sixth sense was working.
I have learned we need to say our self talk and have a mastermind group we need to talk to every day. I say my self talk hundreds of times daily, talk to that guy in the mirror and as I sit by the river every morning and watch the sunrise and talk to my spiritual master mind group. It has taken many months for me to change my life thank those who believe in me and begin to enjoy a wonderful life.
