Money is as shy and elusive as the “old time” maiden. And, coincidental as it is, the POWER used in the “wooing” of money is not greatly different from that used in wooing a maiden. That power, when successfully used in the pursuit of money must be mixed with FAITH. It must be mixed with DESIRE. It must be mixed with PERSISTENCE. It must be applied through a plan, and that plan must be set into ACTION.

When money comes in quantities known as “the big money,” it flows to the one who accumulates it, as easily as water flows down hill. There exists a great unseen stream of POWER, which may be compared to a river; except that one side flows in one direction, carrying all who get into that side of the stream, onward and upward to WEALTH—and the other side flows in the opposite direction, carrying all who are unfortunate enough to get into it (and not able to extricate themselves from it), downward to misery and POVERTY.

Every man who has accumulated a great fortune, has recognized the existence of this stream of life. It consists of one’s THINKING PROCESS. The positive emotions of thought form the side of the stream which carries one to fortune. The negative emotions form the side which carries one down to poverty. This carries a thought of stupendous importance to the person who is following this book with the object of accumulating a fortune.

If you are in the side of the stream of POWER which leads to poverty, this may serve as an oar, by which you may propel yourself over into the other side of the stream. It can serve you ONLY through application and use. Merely reading, and passing judgment on it, either one way or another, will in no way benefit you. 

Some people undergo the experience of alternating between the positive and negative sides of the stream, being at times on the positive side, and at times on the negative side. The Wall Street crash of ‘29 swept millions of people from the positive to the negative side of the stream. These millions were struggling, some of them in desperation and fear, to get back to the positive side of the stream. This book was written especially for those millions. 

Poverty and riches often change places. The Crash taught the world this truth, although the world will not long remember the lesson. Poverty may, and generally does, voluntarily take the place of riches. When riches take the place of poverty, the change is usually brought about through well conceived and carefully executed PLANS. Poverty needs no plan. It needs no one to aid it, because it is bold and ruthless. Riches are shy and timid. They have to be “attracted.”

ANYBODY can WISH for riches, and most people do, but only a few know that a definite plan, plus a BURNING DESIRE for wealth, are the only dependable means of accumulating wealth.

orce which may be likened to a third mind.” He then gave Henry Ford as one example
of this by stating “…Mr. Ford’s most rapid strides became noticeable, from the time he
became a personal friend of Thomas A. Edison… [and then] Harvey Firestone,
John Burroughs, and Luther Burbank…”

This explains why “our earnings will be the average of the 5 people we spend the most
time with.”

Power is necessary for the Retention of Money after it has been accumulated. Power can be gained through the Mastermind Group.

To demonstrate how the brain functions similar to batteries, Hill stated that a group of electric batteries provide more energy than a single battery. A group of brains coordinated (or connected) in a spirit of harmony, will provide more thought energy than a single brain. Being part of a Mastermind Group is necessary in order to become Successful.

I’ve noticed a few years ago that my Sponsor from 2010 has his own Mastermind Group. I never knew what a Mastermind Group was until I started participating in this MFF Program.
Well, whenever he gets involved with a Network Marketing Company, he contacts 15 to 20 business partners that he has known for years. They all join his team and bring their team members with them. He has been a Top Earner aka “Whale” in the Network Marketing Industry for many years.

It’s so important for me to commit to being serious and successful in business. My ex sponsor has developed relationships with his team members over the years. They know, like and trust him. Yes, they are good friends as well.

What MFF has taught me is to stop procrastinating, never quit, keep learning and growing. Also, to have goals and build relationships with others. When I think of Persistence, I also think Resilience.
In Life We are hit with many ups and downs. People are always giving there none researched opinions and views.
So, with that. It takes the resilience in me to bounce back after each Set back in life.
Hill says: THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR PERSISTENCE!
It cannot be supplanted by any other quality!
Remember this, and it will hearten you, in the beginning, when the going may seem difficult and slow. Those who have cultivated the HABIT of persistence seem to enjoy insurance against failure. No matter how many times they are defeated, they finally arrive up toward the top of the ladder.
Sometimes it appears that there is a hidden Guide whose duty is to test men through all sorts of discouraging experiences

I have faced many lost in my life and I believe now it was my persistence to lead my this far and will lead me on.
This Monday as I was Speaking to my mentor Nathan, I told him about a goal I had to reach. He suggested I turn it to a self-Talk.
So Here it Is “I WILL HAVE 50 CUSTOMERS THAT WILL PLACE $25.00 OR MORE ORDERS AND 25 OF THOSE WILL BE ONLINE ORDERS BY MY NEXT CAMPAIGN IN 7 DAYS”
I say it now and it will be my self-talk for each campaign. Because since Monday I have received 2 recruits in my downline, 5 new customers now I need 45 more, 1 mentoring for free participant and I constantly expanding.
I have to succeed because if I don’t,
My mother WORDS ALWAYS RING IN MY HEAD “GIRL AINT NO SUCH WORD AS CAN’T”
You can do anything you put your mind to doing if you use your head for more than a hat rack.
It’s amazing how I look at things now! I used to people please to a lot of broke people who had no destiny and were just drifting in life looking for the next illegal temporary come up.
Well yeah, I do people please and it’s okay; because the people I now seek to please help and guide me in the Right direction so I can Learn How to think and Grow rich by being Persistent in all I do.
So, I want to thank everyone in this Mastermind group for all you do and Leading me in a new way of life.

The Eighth Step toward Riches
PERSISTENCE is an essential factor in the procedure of transmuting DESIRE into its monetary equivalent. The basis of persistence is the POWER OF WILL. - Napoleon Hill
The majority of people are ready to throw their aims and purposes overboard, and give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune. A few carry on DESPITE all opposition, until they attain their goal. These few are the Fords, Carnegies, Rockefellers, and Edisons. - Napoleon Hill

This is what I focus on for myself to overcome this "LACK OF WILL" that most people have?
1. Develop a "WHY" from Chapter 2 of Success In 10 Steps that brings me to tears.
2. Post lessons in this personal growth training, weekly; Think and Grow Rich Lessons.
3. When we get to Chapter 2 DESIRE, answer those 5 questions Hill asks, creating the 6th one that I printed out and read twice daily.
4. Read other people's lessons.
5. Printed out and read the CONFIDENCE FORMULA in Chapter 3 once a day. Memorize it.
6. Say my self-talk, in the beginning, at least 1,000 times daily.
7. Be on as many calls as possible. Listen to as many as possible of the archived recordings of ones I missed.
8. When the negativity creeps in, which it will, say my self-talk with even more emotion or watch the "Stop It" video at least twice.

This video can cure most any negative thoughts.
9. After posting at least 4 lessons here, get the Pro System; the Bootcamp, the Mentoring App and the Mentoring Site.
10. Getting the Pro System is the key to putting into action what we learn from the 8 weekly calls. It allows us to make the mistakes that help us learn the skills taught here in Mentoring For Free. Without these mistakes, we would not learn nearly so much.
Most people who come to Mentoring For Free and do these 10 things have committed to becoming a leader. They did not say, "I'll give it a try." They did not say, "I will do my best." They said, "I will do whatever it takes."
Obstacles are GUARANTEED. How one learns to get around, over, under or through determines one's success. As Hill says, if one way doesn't work, look for another that does. Use it until it doesn't work, then find another. Quitting MUST NOT be an option if one is to develop enough POWER OF WILL to become immensely successful; to become a LEADER.

Hill tells us “The ease with which lack of persistence may be conquered will depend entirely upon the INTENSITY OF ONE’S DESIRE.

The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. If you find yourself lacking in persistence, this weakness may be remedied by building a stronger fire under your desires.”

I had been wanting to get a single wheel motorcycle trailer for sometime now. The problem was that I have a sport touring bike that does not have a heavy duty frame, in other words there is not a whole lot to attach a hitch to. I did not want to get a full touring bike because they don't perform near as well in the curves and my current bike is paid off as well with low mileage.

I ran into a lot of problems in doing this. First mistake, I let the guy at the hitch place talk me out of the single wheel trailer in lieu of a two wheel because he had a personal thing with the Unigos or single wheels. There were a lot of problems with the two wheel trailer and I ended it up taking it back to North Carolina. I then got the single wheel one that I should've bought to start with all to find out that it caused a high speed front end wobble on my bike that was unnerving because of the unstable hitch. I was stuck with a trailer that was not serving me at all, just sitting in my kitchen and a lot of frustration. I didn't get to pull that trailer on my trip to Colorado and I had really been looking forward to having it.

I sought a little council from the guy that I bought the trailer from and he turned me towards a friend in Alaska that has the same bike and the same trailer with the same problem. He gave me the solution that he found and turned me onto a friend of his Arizona who fixed his hitch so that it was rock solid. He was down in Gainsville, Fl. so he let me ride his to see the difference while I was traveling to a company event. So off to Arizona I went because I was determined and I had a strong desire to pull a trailer. 3400 miles in six days and I think I have a working solution now. I loaded the trailer down with cinderblocks and pulled it about 25 miles a couple of days ago and it was much better. After moving the tongue two notches, that made a world of difference.

After spending way too much money and way too much time I got what I wanted because I had a strong desire to have that extra room and had the persistence to follow though and never quit. And it goes the same for anything that we really want in life, we just have to have the desire backed by persistence.

Before Mentoring For Free I was in another program that cost

$40.00 a month, it was an okay program, however there was

No master mind, it was a lecture one person talking. After

Being part of that program for something like 2 years I quit,

Just did not seem like I was getting any better at being good

At Network Marketing.

My thoughts are, maybe I can’t change, I was put in this world

Like this. I did not have any control over that.



My next door neighbor invited me to a get together, she tells

Me her church having it, you can bring your information on

This took place last Saturday, not long after I get there,

A local high school band shows up, they start playing,

Cheer leaders, dance team, a local Corvette club was there.

It turns out this is a program my neighbor Michelle puts on

Every year in honor of her mother who died of cancer.

There were cancer survivors speakers that spoke, one young lady

Talked about she was told she only had 2 months to live, she

Fired those doctors, and got her some new doctors, that was

A little over 10 years ago, she is very positive thinking person,

I made sure she got the information for Think And Grow Rich

Lessons.

Another young lady was introduced, she had a long resume,

She had several college degrees, she had also been in some

3rd world countrys helping people after a disaster, she was

Representing Susan G. Komen, of Arkansas, she looked like

She was in her 20s. Sometime later I told her she had done

A lot of good things in this world, I am guessing you are 20

Something years old. She thank me and said she had just

Turned 30.



I passed out and went over the personality chart with
