IN EVERY chapter of this book, mention has been made of the
moneymaking secret which has made fortunes for more than five hundred
exceedingly wealthy men whom I have carefully analyzed over a long
period of years.
The secret was brought to my attention by Andrew Carnegie. When he
saw that I had grasped the idea, he asked if I would be willing to spend
twenty years or more, preparing myself to take it to the world, to men and
women who, without the secret, might go through life as failures.
This book contains the secret.
Even before twenty years had passed the secret was passed on to more
than one hundred thousand men and women who have used it for their
personal benefit, as Mr. Carnegie planned that they should. Some have
made fortunes with it. Others have used it successfully in creating harmony
in their homes.
The secret to which I refer has been mentioned no fewer than a hundred
times, throughout this book. It has not been directly named, for it seems to
work more successfully when it is merely uncovered and left in sight, where
those who are ready, and searching for it, may pick it up.
If you are ready to put it to use, you will recognize this secret at least once
in every chapter. I wish I might feel privileged to tell you how you will know

One brief suggestion which may provide a clue by which the Carnegie
secret may be recognized? It is this, all achievement, all earned riches,
have their beginning in an idea! If you are ready for the secret, you already
possess one half of it, therefore, you will readily recognize the other half the
moment it reaches your mind.
Do not become discouraged if you do not fully comprehend all that has
been stated. Unless you have long been a student of the mind, it is not to
be expected that you will assimilate the principles upon a first reading.
Imagination, a hunch, an idea, then plan for its realization, in writing, you
have actually taken the first of a series of steps, which will enable you to
convert the thought into its physical counterpart. The earth on which you
live, you, and every other material thing are the result of evolutionary
change, through which microscopic bits of matter have been organized and
arranged in an orderly fashion.
Coca Cola, the old kettle and the wooden paddle, and the secret message
on a slip of paper were incidental. The strange performance of that kettle
began to take place after the new owner mixed with the secret instructions
an ingredient of which the original owner knew nothing.
In your search for the secret of the method, do not look for a miracle,
because you will not find it. You will find only the eternal laws of Nature.
These laws are available to every person who has the FAITH and the
COURAGE to use them.
The secret is always inseparably attached to each principle. Look through

What I think of this exclusive home business secret revealed on attracting prospects today, it reminds me that we can't push a prospect to buy our product nor join our business. We must pull him through. Meaning that we have to ask him what would he like to know first? What does he want to know next? And lets just drop the agenda. What we would like for the prospect to does not exist. He cares about his own problems. In conversations with our prospects we do not have to be all business. Lets ask about his family, his vacation, what hobbies that he has etc. And if he comes up with a problem then we must ask him "What are you doing about it?" and depending on HOW he answers your question you can ask "How is that going for you?" and/or "Have you considered doing something about it?" “THIRD TIME AROUND” - The Third Time Around?
To most people this whole Network Marketing thing does not
come naturally. We have plenty of life’s events and pre-
programming to overcome.
THE FIRST TIME AROUND. People reading this Lesson grew
to adults, possibly went on to college, got a job started a family
and worked 40+hr weeks all dictated by everything we were
programmed to know about supporting ourselves, our families
and being a productive citizen, an active part of society. Inside
we yearned for something else. Most felt the yearning but didn’t
know what to do except try to find a job that paid more (pre-
programming).
Then one day we’re approached by someone in Network
Marketing. We listened for a moment, “ah, I’ve been told about
these schemes and scams”. We hold up the silver cross put the
garlic around our necks and run…just like our prospects did
before we learned exactly word for word what to say and do…
THE SECOND TIME AROUND. But as time passed it occurred
there may be more to it than we thought, we had been given a
glimpse of the Network marketing promise and couldn’t let it go.
We eventually enrolled in a Network Marketing company.
We don’t know what to do so our up-line gave us a PLAN. We
knew this was the correct PLAN because our up-line told us
exactly what they were told. Make a list of family and friends, all
the business people and professions you know and go tell them
about this GREAT Product and business opportunity. They will
all see how this wonderful opportunity will allow them to retire
years earlier then they otherwise could.
OUR UP-LINE SAID, “JUST DON’T THROW UP ON THEM.”
WELL HECK, WE TRIED NOT TO BUT OUR UP-LINE HAD NO CURE.
So off we go, plan in hand. A little fearful but excited and
motivated we start…vomiting. Almost immediately people start
holding up the silver crosses, putting garlic around their necks
running and not answering the phone when we call. We become
discouraged, doubtful and very fearful. As time passes our
activity ceases and our up-line pushes. The big issue, no one
ever really told us step by step what do and say word for
word…they just said do-it and we did.
How does one create an organized plan out of that? We had the
umpteen years of pre-programming before Network Marketing
now we have the rejection and fear to overcome…what plan will
get us through that?

Victorious Network Marketing Truth Revealed On Action Today
Russ Aker writes a victorious network marketing truth revealed on taking action today NOT tommorow because if we do it tommorow then we will run out of time and miss out on the fun stuff. There is no such thing as maybe. The word maybe is a destructive word due to the fact that the true word of maybe means no, especially with respect to taking massive action. The only way that fear gets eliminated is by taking ACTION.
Furthermore the more frequently we do an activity the better we get at it. It is no different than using the Slight Edge philosophy by taking small actions every day. Lets say for instance you talk to two people per day. It is easy to do and it is also easy not to do. Lets say you talk to two people per day for 30 days. That is a total of 60 people. And if it is a year that is a total of 720 people. You may not notice a difference after week one. But in 6 months you will be halfway there which is 360 people which is of course a big difference. Furthermore the more frequently we do an activity the better we get at it. It is no different than using the Slight Edge philosophy by taking small actions every day. Lets say for instance you talk to two people per day. It is easy to do and it is also easy not to do. Lets say you talk to two people per day for 30 days. That is a total of 60 people. The fear is usually caused by the negative results we allow
our mind to conjure up, fearing the unknown we do not
take action. So many of us find it much easier to live in the
“misery’ of our comfort zone, instead breakout into the
unfamiliar and uncomfortable to experience possibility.
When one opens their mind to the principle of the Sixth
Sense, allowing ourselves to be available rather than be
lost in the maze we gain a vantage point from a whole new
perspective.

HOW TO OUTWIT THE SIX GHOSTS OF FEAR
Fear may be one of the most miserable maladies one
could live with. It robs us of the joys available in life. Fear
holds our mind and actions captive, manipulates our
thought, lack of positive action and achievement.
It’s funny, one would think that by recognizing a fear we
would choose not to live in the discomfort of it and just
move out of fear. But fear can be so imbedded from a
lifetime collection of fearful thought and dread
unrecognized and hidden in the subconscious. It’s not that
easily seen. Most people lack tools available to develop
skill in eliminating fear. To cultivate the opposite we must
begin to recognize and admit fear, and develop skills for
employing opposing action.
Fear diverts concentration of effort. Hill says recognize the
fact that all human beings, are, by nature, lazy, indifferent,
and susceptible to all suggestions which harmonize with
our weaknesses one of which is fear. It takes a willing
desire, effort and action to overcome.
The following statement of Hills was very eye opening to
me, “I would remind you that Life is a checkerboard, and
the player opposite you is time. If you hesitate before
moving, or neglect to move promptly, your men will be
wiped off the board by time. You are playing against a
partner who will not tolerate INDECISION!”
Fear is really nothing more than a state of mind,
understanding that statement should be freeing itself. It
means we are in charge, we can decide what state of mind
is acceptable to us. Knowing what you don’t want, waking
in the moment of fearful thought and saying “STOP IT”
actually works. I find in these waking moments it is a good
time to interject a repetition of short positive affirmation.
Overcome fear by overpowering it with the opposite.
Hill offers a self analysis test. He suggests, "to aid those
who wish to see themselves as they really are, read the
questions and state your answers aloud, so you can hear
your own voice. This will make it easier for you to be
truthful with yourself". Try recording your honesty and play
it back.
As mentioned in my last lesson, to measure our growth
and understanding of the principles, after completing this
chapter on fear reread this book and practice the
principles. At the end of the cycle reflect on the
progress of your journey.

industry to get into with bigger than life promises of
success. But almost everyone fails. Once they join they
have no clue of what to do. They fall into every trap and
do not know where to get truthful information. Neither their
up-line nor their NWM Company can provide it. I know you
know this, or you would not be reading this Blog. You are
searching for truth as I was.
I can prove to you and show you how to move to the other
side of 98%, and why your lack of success is not your
fault... Now, I am no Guru…but I have found the truth. I
will point you there. Let’s find out. What I am about to tell
you is simple. It is true, BUT…yes there is a, catch...IT
TAKES REAL WORK. The difference between those who
move to the other side and those who struggle and quit is
1.) The effort they apply every day. 2.) The “right kind” of
effort. Yes network marketing does require key skills,
personal development and effort. If you adopt #2 you will
achieve your hearts desire.

Most of us have passing thoughts, but for us no mater how
creative the thought, we let it pass. “Some people” act on

that devise physical existence. What is the difference
between them and us?
Would it be ok if I ask you “Are you satisfied with your
current point in life? Your job? Your income? Your
freedom of choice? Are your choices limited because of
time and money? Would you make other choices if you
had more personal time and money? What if, just what if?
What if you made a change in your current thinking? What
is the difference between “them” and us?
Answer: The difference is they acted on their “day dreams”.
They ceased being “day dreaming thoughts”. They “took
action” on thought, and followed up with the principles to
transmute thought into a reality, a physical existence.
You and I are very fortunate; in network marketing the
creative thought of a great company to join has been
created for us. We must only do a few things to manifest
our dreams to reality.
There are certain principles, “laws of success” that are
required. Those creative individuals we spoke of earlier
tapped into these principles instinctively. Most of us have
no clue as to what they are, that they even exist and they
sure don’t seem to inherently manifest in us. We need to
find a truthful resource for help. Many have read about the
principles, very few give action to them certainly not the
sustained action needed.
We will cover the first three principles. It starts with
thought. Everyone has that. It is the thoughts we focus
on and what we do with the correct thought that make the
difference.
Principle one, you must have a burning DESIRE to manifest
thought into physical existence. Principle two, you must
have FAITH, believing you can even without current
evidence. Principle three, AUTOSUGGESTION,
autosuggestion is defined as, the medium for influencing
your subconscious mind. Basically you must reprogram
yourself into believing YOU CAN. You are coming from a life
of programming toward, go to school, getting a job, save
money, work 40 years and someday retire. Look at the world,
the economy and the cycles over time. We are so fortunate
today to have this other option, Network Marketing.
Reprogramming yourself to believe you can tap in to this
option will cause you to take the correct action. The
correct action will cause you to materialize results. Results
will cause you to believe, reinforcing DESIRE.
There are additional principles that apply and other
strategies that will guarantee your success. These three
will lead you to the others. Plugging into a system of
personal development to help ensure you begin here and
develop the other key principles for success is paramount.
Next, you must learn how to tap into a top creative
company in network marketing. We call these Five-Pillar
companies. You must apply the proper due diligence in
identifying a Five-Pillar company. You must understand
how network marketing business models drive the
behavior of the company and the distributors in the field.
Understanding this is critical to your success. You must
understand what being all in means. When you
understand the truth, you will learn as I did and many
before me that you will have to make changes to what you
are currently doing in network marketing…you will have to
make what seems like tough decisions. The Five-Pillars
were crucial in my decisions, and by doing the actual due-
diligence the decision was clear.

great products and I was very loyal to the product. The

company…As a person of some integrity, I just could not. I
knew if I was educating others on the five pillars, the
people I sponsored would soon learn I had misled them.
My next question, if I am not in a five pillar company, is my
mentor? If they are the person of integrity I believe them to
be, they must be. I did the due diligence…they were. It
took me several more months of “Procrastination” to
“Decide” to ask, “Can I join you?”
Again, Principle Three, Autosuggestion is critical and key
to your success. The top 2% would not be where they are
had it not been for the practice of this key third principle.
Remember we all start in the same place, but end up what
