I have burned those bridges, fueled that desire with knowledge backed it up with a NO QUIT attitude. Thoughts have been popping into my mind and I have been discussing them with a team of likeminded people (mastermind) that will all rank advance at the same time and will receive nice bonuses. We are committed and willing to pay the price for success. There is no time for negative talk, no place for self-doubt we are doing this NO MATTER WHAT!!!! And when the challenges present themselves, instead of running we will RISE. I pray that this New Year brings each of us peace, prosperity and good health. My hope is that we all come together to inspire others, especially those that are looking for a shot at success but don’t have a vehicle to get there. The person who says that he believes things when he sees them has doubt! Edwin Barnes saw himself being the partner of Thomas Edison from the first second that he met him face to face. Everybody thought that he was just another worker there. But Edison did NOT. In his mind he was the business partner of Thomas Edison EVERY SINGLE MINUTE that he was on the clock. He was not promised anything. He did whatever Edison told him to do. That is "being coachable". He did not say that he will be looking for the next shiny object incase he did not get what he wanted in the organization. He just did it! Another thing a person must have in any business is open mindedness for new ideas. If you do not have an open mind then face facts and get out of the game right now. It will save your health. Take action on the new ideas by creating a plan. Then set your goals to accomplish it. Mark on your calendar a due date, just like your teacher in school gave due dates for your research papers. They called it deadlines there. Here it is the SAME THING. If you do not have a deadline then you are dreaming and are only happy which does little good for you in the long run because the key to success is making your dreams come true. And when you meet the deadlines over and over again just like the Slight Edge says, eventually you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. Another thing is that you have your own mind. You do not need to listen to the the Doctor and his opinion. That person who went to the operating room was told by the doctor that he would not make it. He did not listen to him. So if Napoleon Hill tells us some non fiction story then lets just LISTEN! And furthermore that guy Blair was born deaf. Napoleon Hill planted in Blairs mind that he would be able to hear and it worked. He was someone who earned money on the streets and did not give into his mothers fear that something would happen to him. "And whenever he wanted something he would plan a way to earn it then buy it for himself. He did not cry like his big brother has. He knew that there was no such thing as something for nothing. Henry Ford the guy who invented the automobile started in poverty. BUT he used the tools what he had to build the first horseless carriage. He did not wait for opportunity to favor him. Some reach their goal in a month, some in a year, some in two years, and some longer. Many stop turn around and go back and quit but the ones that reach their goals never ever quit. They might struggle, stumble or stop for a rest but they get up and keep on going forward. Your desire for riches is just 3 feet in front of you not behind you. Think and Grow Rich, Success in 10 Steps and Michael have taught me what I need and how to accomplish it. I have struggled I have fallen down but I have never let negative thoughts make me quit I am not a quitter. I have walked the trail, swam the trail, flew the trail but I have always gone forward and never looked, walked swan or flown backwards. My goal was forward my fight for success has and will always be forward. This Chapter is the beginning of a new life a new me. I have read it many times and each time it gets better and better. If we think we have persistence, we do. If we think we have faith, we do. It is what we think that counts. Having a burning desire and a great determination, saying your self talk 400 times a day (as Michael tells us) works. Removing our negative thoughts throwing them away, burning them or kicking them in the river and replacing them with positive thoughts works.

Our brain doesn’t care if our thoughts are negative or positive it will plant them and they will grow. Our brain is like a field a farmer plows fertilizes and plants his seeds and keeps them watered. They will grow along with bad seeds that someone tossed in the field and also weeds. When they grow along with the good seeds we have to pull the bad ones up and throw them away, burn them or toss them in the river.

We have to learn to control or thoughts like Barnes he had a burning desire and burned his bridges behind him so the only way he could go was forward. We have to have the persistence like the little colored girl taking one step forward, when Barns was about to whip her, yelling in a loud voice “My mommy’s gotta have that fifty cents!” 

I know I have had many positive thoughts and plenty negative thoughts. I have survived both but the positive thoughts have been the rewarding ones like “I think what I am” like Hill says “We think what we are” and “Thoughts are things”
Every morning I talk a walk to the river and watch the sun creep above the trees across the river laying a golden carpet to me. I am now saying my self talk several hundred times a day and pulling my negative thoughts (the weeds and posin plants) up and throwing them in the river. My dreams and desires are slowing coming to reality.

Once I used the skills on a daily basis and got results then I was on my way. If you do not have experience in the business yet then tell your uplines experience. Because for some reason, do not ask me why people believe third party stories and third party testamonials as well.

                               Remember that facts tell and stories sell. And when you are someone who is comming for service just like the waiteress at IHOP does at breakfast time. The agenda is gone. For instance when someone says no to coffee the waitress does not continue pouring coffee down into someones cup until it spills. She just gives him the coffee and when he says no to it the waitress does not take it personal. The waitress knows that there are other people who want coffee.
