In my lesson plan I describe an mlm truth on putting a plan of action to USE today so that I can have tommorow what others can't!

Its one thing to learn the skills and put them into a PLAN OF ACTION and asking people to be our customer. It's okay if they say NO. We did our job and we have to ask ourselves two questions:

1. How can we adjust so that we get a yes next time?

2. What skills we need to learn?

Then make an adjustment and get back in the field & ASK.

If you don't ask you are no different than the person who attends class & does not do his homework. Just because we are done with high school and college does NOT mean that this rule does not count anymore.

There is no reason to cry if your friends and family do not support you. Some people unfortunately lost their warm market but that did NOT stop them from learning new skills & building their team & accomplishing the highest rank in their company.

Point is its not how you start. It's how you FINISH that matters in the end.

Henry Ford made his decision by keeping the Model T in style and did NOT change it for a long time even when his advisors told him to. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe not. But the point is this, its better to make the wrong decision than no decision at all. Michael Dlouhy says "Pull the trigger", you do NOT have answer until you TEST it! And if the 56 men did not sign the Declaration of Independence & no mastermind between Adams, Lee and Hancock there would be NO America. Hello!!

MLM Truth On Choice Today

Everybody says an mlm truth is the choice to make decisions quickly and change them slowly if anything. The 56 men who signed The Declaration of Independence have. Their lives were at stake. If they did not do that then America would be under British CONTROL  & it would be FAR from how life is today. So many people who have gone away to college switch majored back and forth, back and forth. Without realizing that they are making wishes NOT decisions. My good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy describes in his book Success In Ten Steps the following on decisions “you must have a strong reason to do it, if what you are doing does not work you will figure out some other way. But if you are wishy washy you are a goner!” If others influence your life then you will be spinning in circles. Too many people do NOT realize they don’t know the meaning of the word decision which means to do something and cut other options OUT! Time to get going and accomplish your desire with a DEADLINE!

IMAGINATION

The imagination is the compartment where all ideas are created.   Every significant change in History was created through imagination.   The electric light bulb came from the imagination of Edison and flying began with the Wright Brothers.  These are just a few examples of ideas that changed the world.  All of these started with an imagination.

There are two forms of imagination: synthetic and creative.   Synthetic is where old concepts, ideas, and plans are used in different combinations. Mostly the inventor or scientist to solve a problem uses it. Creative imagination is when the finite mind has direct communication with Infinite Intelligence.  This is where hunches and inspirations come from.  Edison probably used synthetic imagination during the ten thousand attempts on the light bulb working.  The idea, however, came from creative imagination.

A more present day example of imagination is Herb Kelligher and Rollin King who founded Southwest Airlines.  Kelleher was an attorney in San Antonio, Texas when Rollin King approached him. King had a side business of an unprofitable air charter service between small Texas Cities.  King saw the value of an air carrier that could fly between Texas Cities at a reasonable price.  King raised some money and went to Kelleher.  Kelleher was skeptical at first, but helped him raise more money and political support.  The airline was incorporated in nineteen hundred and sixty eight.  The airline, however, was not able to fly for a few years.   Both Continental and Braniff fought to keep them out of the sky.  They fortunately persevered and after a few years of losing millions of dollars they became a choice carrier in the market it served. 

Southwest is now one of the most profitable airlines around. It is unique in the fact that it offers quick turnaround, no assigned seating, and allows two bags at no extra charge.  I will fly Southwest if it is available and I need to get somewhere quickly.   Southwest Came Airlines came out of a person’s imagination.  Not sure what the last month or so has been like, but they were flying a thousands and thousands of customers daily. 

Things are tough for many individuals and businesses right now.  As discussed some folks will adapt to change and some will not.  Some businesses will close and some billion-dollar ideas are being formed right at this moment.  These history-making changes will all come from someone’s imaginations and millions of lives will be impacted.

We will not be successful if we lack an imagination.  We need to see ourselves succeeding at whatever we are doing.  This goes for a conventional working career, athletic, and network marketing.  

We all need to work hard, work smart, and have a focus with our businesses.  We as well need to see ourselves succeeding.  I imagine having all bills paid, an extra paycheck growing as the business grows, and standing on stage telling my story. See it happening before it becomes a reality.

As I say in most lessons we will hit bumps where things are not happening for us.  Everybody goes through these moments.  This happens even though our products are good, compensation plan is lucrative, and most would have a better live with our programs.  Most, however, will not see it or want to.  Not our fault.  We do our jobs by giving them an alternative. 

We need association with like minded individuals who enhance our lives are giving us the energy to carry on.  Mentoring for Free is the place.  Thank you Michael And Linda Dloughy for this program. MLM Truth of ending fear today is described in detail by Michael Simon. The main thing is just taking ACTION and making adjustments so that we can accomplish their goals!

Outwitting the six ghosts Fear

These ghost or fear factors are always there for everybody.  Most will allow 

these ghosts keep them from fulfilling their desires, dreams and destiny. There 

are the few who outwit these and fulfill their destiny.

The six ghost of fear are: poverty, criticism,ill health, loss of love of someone, 

old age, and death.

The two ghosts or as I would refer as my inner demons is the fear of poverty 

and criticism.   

Poverty which can be lack of excess money, debts, fear of paying bills and not having a happy and healthy life has always been there.  Afraid to answer the phone, afraid of the lights being shut off, buying groceries, and not having twenty bucks in my pocket.  I’ve been there and it was not a pleasant experience.  The economy may have been in a recession and I may have gotten a raw deal, but most of the problem here was my doing. 

I didn’t budget, over spent and bought a bunch of stuff I didn’t need.  I was buying on emotion, not on common sense. This was my doing.    Not against having nice things: cars, boats, jewelry, etc.  Just don’t buy it if you cannot pay cash with no worries.  

Like every bad situation there are always some positive.  I try to be much more 

frugal on decisions now.   

I imagine poverty is on a lot of people’s minds right now with the Corona Virus. 

Businesses operating with a skeleton crew or in many cases shut down for an 

infinite period of time. Some will never be open again.  This should be a learning experience for many. I will cover this more at the end. 

The fear of criticism is another. Up until the last few years I have always let the naysayers who question my endeavors put doubt into my mind. This goes back to me. Don’t do this business, don’t run this race, and the list goes on.   Most are family and mean no harm, they just don’t get it. I have finally accepted that that is okay. 

What they don’t understand is I have the entrepreneurial blood in me. I may be a disabled veteran with some unwanted hands dealt in life, but this is one thing you cannot shut of.

I may not be Zig Ziglar, Tony Robins, or Michael Dlouhy, but I will make my mark. These three had their share of lousy hands dealt in their lives, but they didn’t let the fears keep them down.

For the rest of the fears.  Poor Health? I had a major health scare twelve years ago. I lived by the grace of God. I went through an extensive impatient rehab and still have outpatient care. Still have side effects, but I am plugging away. 

Loss of love. My wife and I were essentially apart for the first two years of our marriage, due to my deployment. Within a year of returning I was diagnosed with a service connected illness and other injuries.  Our marriage barely survived this, but by the Grace Of God’s intervention we survived.  She stuck by me during the toughest of times.

Old age and death. Well we can do our best to take care of ourselves, but the clock never stops on our body in the natural.  As for Death. Well the mortality rate is one hundred percent, we just don’t know exactly when.  I have accepted that live is short compared to eternity. Therefore I wish to live life as full as possible, be the best husband, father, and contributor to society as possible. When it’s our time, it’s our time!

I am doing my best to not let these fears bring me down. The Corona Virus is a serious matter. I, however, have the belief and confidence that we will as a society beat this and come out stronger in the long run. 

This Pandemic is a wake up call to me. Trading hours for dollars does not mean security no matter how much money you make. Something like this can shut everything down overnight.  No time like the present to build our network marketing businesses. 

During this time we need support and outlet of positive material and uplifting people. Am so blessed to have Mentoring for Free. Thank you Michael and Linda Dlouhy for this program. Thank you Rick for reaching out to me. Thank you to everybody who participates on these discussions.

Brenda Kidd describes in detail an mlm truth that you can teach an old dog new tricks, if they are willing to learn. It does NOT matter how old a person is! You are never to old to learn anything in life. You are only old in the mind. Any excuse will do is the bottom line. Colonel Sanders was 65 when he got started and look what happened Kentucky Fried Chicken!

Chapter 12:  The Subconscious Mind The Connecting Link

I’ve heard so many times in my life the phrase, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks!”  Not True!  Sometimes people adopt reasoning like this because of negative conditioning by significant others in their lives and are afraid to step out and prove them wrong.  Or they may have failed a number of times and convinced themselves that success/change is not in their future.  But no matter how they arrived at that belief, it can still be changed.  Yes, it takes time, patience and persistence, but it can be done.    

As Hill says in this chapter, we have to retrain our subconscious mind and Yes, that takes Faith.  We must learn to change our self-talk from negativity to positivity; from stating what we feel is negative in our life and rehearsing how we have failed to declaring how we are succeeding each day and celebrating the success, no matter how small it is.  If we live in the failures, our minds and bodies will begin to follow suit through physical and mental deterioration.  But concentrating on an accomplishment will result in our minds and bodies responding in very positive ways.  It doesn’t happen overnight; the change can be very small in the beginning.  But eventually the realization comes that our minds are focusing on more positives than negatives, the tiredness and lethargy we might have struggled with in the past is not as pronounced.  AND we begin to notice that we’re seeing the glass half full instead of half empty.  The beauty of it is that others will notice the change before we even see it.  The more we do it, the easier it becomes, and eventually changes from a habit to a way of life.

It is refreshing to be part of this mastermind group where we get to learn from and encourage one another.  It is truly a pearl of great price.  So thankful also that we can be each other’s cheerleaders as we think and grow rich.

Chapter 12 - The Subconscious Mind

I have heard Michael Dlouhy tell us over and over that
"In order to make more, we have to become more."

In order to become more we have to change our thinking
especially about ourselves.  The majority of people
during their lifetime have been told negative things
and after a time those negative opinions
get imbedded in our subconscious mind and when we are
in the process of building a business they impact what
we believe we can accomplish and we get stuck.

We can get stuck at a certain level because we don't believe
we can make more than a certain amount.  We get stuck 
because we get scared to talk to people because we are
too concerned with what they will think about us.  We
get stuck because we don't really believe we can accomplish
what we would like to accomplish.

Paul J. Meyer stated "Your self-image is the result of all 
you have given your subconscious mind as a database, so 
regardless of your background, what you are willing to 
become is the only reality that counts." 

We have been programmed by other people and once we
realize and are able to recognize that, we can then begin
to reprogram our own minds and move forward.  Doing this
reprogramming by ourselves is very difficult
and that is why these Think & Grow Rich Lessons are so 
vital to our success.  

Hill writes"THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND consists of a field 
of consciousness, in which every impulse of thought 
that reaches the objective mind through any of the 
five senses, is classified and recorded, and from 
which thoughts may be recalled or withdrawn as letters 
may be taken from a filing cabinet."

We need to clean out our filing cabinet from the files
that were put there by other people and replace those
files with the positive input we receive here at Mentoring
for Free and be our own filing clerk.

CHAPTER 12-THE SUBCONSCIOUS
MIND THE CONNECTING LINK

“The subconscious mind works day and night! Through a method of
procedures, unknown to man, the subconscious mind draws upon the forces
of infinite Intelligence for the power with which it voluntarily transmutes one’s
desires into their physical equivalent, making use, always of the most
practical media by which this end may be accomplished.” Napoleon Hill

We are told the subconscious mind is a field of consciousness where
every impulse of thought which comes to the mind is classified, recorded,
and filed. And can be recalled or retrieved like a document from a computer
file.

I had to ask myself this question, “How many thoughts, ideas, or messages
does the average person get per day?” Afterward searching Google, I found
this interesting answer. “Experts estimate that the mind thinks between
60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. That’s an average of 2500 – 3,300 thoughts
per hour. That’s incredible. Other experts estimate a smaller number, of
50,000 thoughts per day, which means about 2100 thoughts per hour. This too
is a great number of thoughts.”

I must make a confession; I have not always been truthful with Connie. How
many times has she look at me and ask, “What are you think about?” and I
would answer. “Nothing” I now realize “nothing” is a void I planted in my
subconscious mind because I forgot to focus and write it down.

“After you have accepted, as a reality, the existence of the subconscious
mind, and understand its possibilities, as a medium for transmuting your
desires into their physical or monetary equivalent, you will comprehend the
full significance of the instructions given in the chapter on DESIRE. You
will also understand why you have been repeatedly admonished to MAKE 
YOUR DESIRES CLEAR, AND TO REDUCE THEM TO WRITING.” Napoleon Hill  

The challenge I have given myself and ask the Mentoring for Free family to
hold me to, is to keep a notepad and pen or use the note app on my iPhone
and write down the thoughts, ideas, hunches, and inspirations as they came
my way. To turn that “nothing” box into a full box of useful thought, ideas,
hunches, and goals. With 2100 to 3500 thoughts per hour how many can be the
ones that lead to a fortune? Why let just one of them go to waste?
