CHAPTER 3 FAITH: VISUALIZATION OF, AND BELIEF IN ATTAINMENT OF DESIRE
The Second Step toward Riches
FAITH is the head chemist of the mind. When FAITH is blended with the vibration of thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer.
This chapter is about the visualization of and belief in the attainment of our DESIRE, created in Chapter 2. The results we created from the other 5 Steps.
FAITH is created by repeated self-talk to the subconscious mind. Said enough with belief builds confidence. Hill says this is the only way to know to develop the emotion of FAITH.
How do we say our self-talk? Do we say just a few times or 100’s and 100’s of times?
Do we visualize the person we will become per the instructions of Step 2 of this chapter?
It is clear, after 80+ years and all the very successful people applying these steps, and the instructions following in these principles, what Hill is giving us works if we use them constructively. On the other hand, if we use them destructively, it will destroy just as readily.
Self-talk can lead us to peace and prosperity or to misery, failure, and even mental suicide.

How much effort have we made to learn the influences of FAITH?
Do we come here expecting results, but lack the desire to put in the effort required to get those results?
Or do we not even show up for these lessons or do we show up and not post lessons, nor participate?
We are not given the success we want. We are given the success we deserve.
